Well Collected is made by Pro eMarketing, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what
data Well Collected collects, why, and who it’s shared with. It’s written to match
exactly what the app does — nothing more.
The short version
Your catalog lives on your device first. Cloud backup is optional.
We never sell your data or show you ads.
Photos and item details you choose to run through AI features are sent to
Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to process that request — see “AI
features” below.
You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from
Settings.

Where your data lives
On your device: your full catalog is stored locally first (SQLite).
Well Collected works completely offline. This is the source of truth.
Supabase (our cloud database and file storage provider): if you sign
in, your catalog and photos are backed up here so you can restore them on
a new device. Supabase does not use your data for anything other than
storing it for us.
Anthropic (maker of Claude, our AI provider): when you use AI
Identify, AI Valuation, or Bulk Add’s auto-grouping, the photo(s) and
text you’re working with are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate a
result. Anthropic processes this data to return the response and does
not use it to train its models. If you don’t use these AI features,
nothing is ever sent to Anthropic.
RevenueCat and the App Store: if you subscribe to Well Collected Pro,
your purchase is processed by Apple and RevenueCat manages entitlement
state. We receive your subscription status, not your payment details —
Well Collected never sees your card number.
We do not use any advertising or analytics-for-tracking SDK, and Well Collected does
not track you across other apps or websites.
Your controls
Use Well Collected without an account. Cataloging, AI identify, and AI
valuation all work signed out. An account is only needed for cloud backup
and multi-device sync.
Export anytime. Settings → Export gives every tier a full JSON
backup, a CSV spreadsheet, and a printable inventory PDF, with no lock-in.
The insurance-ready schedule — replacement cost, serial numbers, and
insurance flags formatted for a claim — is part of Well Collected Pro.
Delete your account. Settings → Delete account permanently removes
your account and everything backed up to our servers (catalog, photos,
subscription record). Your local, on-device catalog is not affected —
uninstall the app to remove that too.
Decline AI processing. The AI-consent prompt shown before your first
AI request lets you opt out; you can still catalog everything by hand.
Data retention
Cloud-backed data is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your
account deletes it immediately — including your AI usage diagnostics, which are
recorded against your account so we can count your free-tier scan allowance and
monitor reliability. These diagnostics record timing and token counts only; they
never contain your photos or item details.
Children
Well Collected is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect data from children under 13.
